

James Taylor
27 year old James Taylor was arrested yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon on a number of charges. Taylor was cited for driving while barred, that charge led to a $2000 bond. After being arrested by the Burlington Police Department, the Des Moines County Sheriff served a warrant for failure to appear on a domestic violence with use or display of a weapon charge, that warrant carried a $2500 bond. Taylor was also served warrants for two counts of probation violations, another $4500 bond. He was held at the Des Moines County Jail.

Austin Corwin
A traffic stop led to five charges against 23 year old Austin Corwin yesterday (Tuesday) at 8:09 in the evening. The Burlington Police Department filed charges of failure to use a seatbelt, driving without a valid license, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Corwin was held on a total of $5000 bond.

Mark Carter
41 year old Mark Carter has had an additional charge adding after being arrested on a warrant for a probation violation. According to court documents, carter failed to appear for an arraignment hearing. A bench warrant with a $2000 bond was served in Carter after his arrest the day prior.

Juan Rocha
A report by the District 8 Probation Office, filed on August 13th led to a warrant being issued for a violation of conditions of a pre-trial release for 33 year old Juan Rocha. He was taken into custody by the Burlington Police Department at 10:40 yesterday (Tuesday) and held at the Des Moines County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Eric Palmer
45 year old Eric Palmer was arrested by the West Burlington Police Department on a charge of second degree theft. Following an investigation by the Burlington Police Department a warrant for Palmer’s arrest was issued. Palmer was already facing an eluding charge for August 1st. He was taken to the Des Moines County Jail on $5000 bond.
