Burlington, Ia- Des Moines County had seen a drop in COVID-19 cases over the weekend, all because of an error by the state health department.
The Burlington Beacon reports that 7 cases that were originally thought to be in Des Moines County, were supposed to be attributed to the city of Des Moines, in Polk County.
Des Moines Counties case count was adjusted accordingly to correct this error.
Des Moines County currently has a total of 37 coronavirus cases.
