Des Moines, Ia- Governor Reynolds has announced further restrictions in Iowa counties with large population bases and some with major college campuses.
The governor signed a new emergency proclamation Thursday closing all bars, taverns, breweries, and nightclubs in six counties with high COVID-19 counts. Those six counties include Black Hawk, Dallas, Johnson, Linn, Polk, and Story counties.
The closings go into effect at 5 PM Thursday and will be in effect until September 20th.
