Des Moines, Ia- The Iowa Department of public health on Wednesday reported 624 positive cases of COVID-19.
That brings the total number of positive cases in Iowa to 330,436 since the start of the pandemic. 43 deaths related to COVID-19 were also reported bringing that total to 5,306.
Hospitalizations saw a slight decrease with 235 residents hospitalized with 52 in ICUs and 20 on ventilators.
According to the state’s coronavirus tracking website, 496,981 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Iowa.
