Davenport, IA- A Quincy, Illinois man has been sentenced in US District Court for drug trafficking charges.
On Wednesday, August 25th, 40-year-old Michael Reese of Quincy Illinois was sentenced to 151 months in prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine conspiracy operating out of Burlington, Ia.
Rees was also found to have possessed a firearm related to his drug trafficking activities and he was under criminal justice supervision at the time.
Rees was one of eight defendants who faced federal charges in the Southern District of Iowa after a multi-year joint federal and state investigation which culminated in the execution of search warrants in various locations, including Burlington, on November 19, 2019.
