
Carthage, Ill.- Authorities have announced the arrest of a Carthage, Illinois man for domestic violence.
According to a news release, on Monday, October 4th, 2021, Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to assist Carthage Police at 420 North Marion Street at about 7:55 PM.
Upon arrival, officers completed an investigation into a domestic violence incident. Subsequent to a domestic violence arrest a Deputy searched the person of the suspect, Jordan T. A. Quintero, and located methamphetamine in his pocket.
Quintero was charged with Possession of Fewer than 5 grams of Methamphetamine by the deputy and was transported to the Hancock County Jail.
At the jail, contact was made with the Illinois Department of Corrections since Quintero is on mandatory supervised release. IDOC issued a warrant and Quintero was held at the jail.
