Iowa man arrested following officer involved shooting in Missouri

Paris, Mo.-  An Iowa man has been arrested following an officer-involved shooting in Monroe County, Missouri.

TV Station KTVO reports the shooting was reported at about 12:45 AM Saturday, September 3rd, on Highway 15 south of Paris, Missouri.

Following an investigation by members of the Missouri Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, 41-year-old Austin Leigh of Council Bluffs was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Leigh was charged with three felony counts of 4th-degree domestic assault, and one felony count of resisting arrest.
