Iowa nightclub shooting suspect pleads not guilty

Cedar Rapids, IA-  A man charged with murder for his part in the Taboo Nightclub shooting in April has pleaded not guilty.

TV Station KCRG reports that Dimione Walker was booked into the Linn County Jail on September 2nd.  Walker was originally arrested outside Chicago in April.  Since his arrest, he had been held in Illinois on a separate charge.

Walker faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder for his part in the shooting.

Walker has also demanded his right to a speedy trial.

Another man 32 year old Timothy Rush has also been arrested for his part in the shooting.  Rush has been charged with two counts of Second Degree Murder for the shooting deaths of two people.
