Mount Pleasant, IA- West Liberty Foods has announced they plan to close its Mount Pleasant facility in 2023, affecting about 350 employees.
The Burlington Beacon reports that the closure will happen in two phases, with the first reduction planned for December 31st, and all operations closing by May of 2023.
Operations will be moved from Mount Pleasant to other locations in Iowa, Illinois, and Utah.
