Fairfield teens who plead guilty to killing teacher receive sentencing dates

Fairfield, IA-  Two Iowa teens who plead guilty to killing a high school Spanish teacher have received their sentencing dates.

TV Station KTVO reports that Willard Miller and Jeremy Goodale on Tuesday, April 18th both admitted to the November 2021 killing of 66-year-old Nohema Graber and agreed to plea deals.

Miller is scheduled to be sentenced on July 5th, and Goodale is set to be sentenced on August 23rd.

The state is recommending a minimum 30-year sentence with a maximum sentence of life in prison under Miller’s deal.  Goodale’s deal carries the same maximum penalty of life, but a minimum sentence of 25 years.
