Keokuk, IA- Authorities are still searching for a dog that bit and injured a child in Keokuk.
According to the Keokuk Police Department, on April 16th an Animal Control Officer responded to a dog bite in the 1000 block of I Street.
An investigation revealed that a large black dog (with white patches on the chest and hindquarters, with standing ears) bit a child, causing significant injury. The dog then ran into some timber towards Soap Creek and South 16th Street.
Anyone with information regarding who this dog may belong to or where it may live is asked to contact the Keokuk Police Department.
