Davenport, IA- Authorities have announced the arrest of a man in connection to a shooting that occurred Sunday, May 21st in Davenport.
TV Station KWQC reports that 25-year-old Deshawn Washington of Rock Island was arrested in Rock Island Tuesday, May 23rd, and has been charged with first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The charges stem from a shooting incident that occurred in Davenport just before 5 AM Sunday.
The person killed in the incident has been identified as 37-year-old Andre Clanton of Davenport.
Police say the incident remains under investigation.
