Burlington, IA- The Burlington Police Department has announced a brief road closure on Highway 34.
According to a news release, the Iowa State Patrol will be temporarily closing the eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 34 between Curran Street and Central Avenue on Sunday, July 9th at 7:30 AM.
This temporary closure is needed to allow Alliant Energy to remove power lines in the area. The closure is expected to last approximately 20 minutes.
