Fort Madison, IA- The City of Fort Madison will be hosting a Community Involvement Fair from 5 PM to 7 PM, on Wednesday, August 30th at the Kingsley Inn, 707 Avenue H, Fort Madison.
A Community Involvement Fair is a place where citizens can learn the details and responsibilities to serve on boards and commissions, running for office, or volunteering within the community.
City representatives will be in attendance to discuss what the various city boards and commissions do. City Council members will also be present to discuss the process of running for City office and the type of commitment that entails.
