Authorities searching for Mount Pleasant man wanted on multiple warrants

Mount Pleasant, IA-  Authorities are searching for a Mount Pleasant man wanted on multiple warrants.

According to a news release, at about 3:49 PM Wednesday, September 6th,  the Mount Pleasant Police Department observed 33-year-old David Hudnall of Mount Pleasant, who was known to have active arrest warrants, driving a black truck in the Casey’s parking lot in the 400 block of West Washington Street in Mount Pleasant.

Officers attempted to stop Hudnall, but he took off at a high rate of speed.  Authorities pursued the vehicle south through town and into the country at speeds over 100 miles per hour.

For safety reasons, pursuing officers backed off and lost sight of the vehicle, which was later located on South Adams Street.

It was determined that Hudnall took off on foot, and was last seen driving a motorcycle south on Oakland Mills Road.

Anyone with information on Hudnall’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department or the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
