
Wapello, IA- The Louisa County Sheriff’s office on Monday, September 25th, responded to the Morning Sun area for a report of a person having a mental health crisis.
According to a news release, there were two separate calls on this date. This person was alone with no threats to other individuals. Certain streets were blocked off periodically to aid in the support of the individual.
The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Columbus Junction Police Department, the Morning Sun Ambulance, and the Wapello Ambulance. The scene was cleared by 7:26 pm and the individual was provided with the necessary care.
