Muscatine, IA- A Muscatine County man has been sentenced to a maximum of 45 years in prison after being found guilty on multiple counts of sex abuse-related charges.
According to a news release, 45-year-old George Wesley Bishop of Muscatine County was found guilty on July 21st, 2023 of one count of sex abuse in the second degree, three counts of sex abuse in the third degree, and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
All sentences were ordered to run consecutive to each other.
Upon release, Bishop will be required to register as a sex offender and will be placed on supervision as if on parole or work release.
