Burlington, IA- The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department has released an update on the Dankwardt Park Playground Project.
According to an online post, site grading continues, the rock sub-base is down for the concrete areas, and forming has begun for the sidewalks adjacent to the playground area.
Paving for sidewalks is expected to begin in about a week.
The Parks Department says that in order to complete the entire project, which includes sidewalk connections, parking, landscaping, and site amenities, $219,300 in additional funds are still needed.
