Burlington, IA- The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department has released an update on the Dankwardt Park playground project.
According to an online post, as of Friday, November 3rd, more playground progress has been made. Playground equipment installation has commenced and will continue for the next few weeks.
Site work continues, including paving, electrical work for lighting, drainage lines, and water lines.
The Parks Department says that in order to complete the entire project, which includes sidewalk connections, parking, landscaping, and site amenities, $211,600 in additional funds are still needed.
