Wapello, IA-  The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a man has been charged with enticement of a minor.

According to a news release, in September of 2023, the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office received information from a concerned parent that a man in Louisa County was sending inappropriate messages to her fifteen-year-old daughter through Facebook Messenger.

After a month-long investigation, 31-year-old Noah Clark of Letts was arrested on October 18th on one count of aggravated misdemeanor dissemination of obscene material to a minor, and later released on bond.

At the time of his arrest, Clark admitted to knowing the victim was a minor and stated there could be 2 to 3 more minor victims he was communicating with.

Further investigation into the statements resulted in supplemental search warrants being conducted, which led to additional charges against Clark involving a separate victim.

On February 5th, Clark was arrested on one count of possession of a visual depiction of a minor engaging in a prohibited sexual act and one count of enticement of a minor and was released on bond.

Clark’s victims were not located in Louisa County and appeared to be members of a regional rabbit show circuit that Clark was also a member of.

Clark has since pleaded guilty to the initial charge from October of 2023.
