
Burlington, IA- A Burlington man was sentenced to over 16 years in federal prison for Conspiracy to Distribute 50 Grams or more of Methamphetamine.
According to the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa, between January and October of 2022, 62-year-old Hardy Pegues III of Burlington conspired with others to distribute large amounts of methamphetamine in the Burlington area.
One of the other subjects was 36-year-old Larry Keith Knotts III, who was sentenced on January 23rd to 25 years in federal prison for Conspiracy to Distribute 50 grams or more of Methamphetamine.
Following his prison term, Pegues will be required to serve five years of supervised release.
