Davenport, IA- The Davenport Police Department says that a 10-year-old child was injured after being struck by a vehicle.
According to a news release, at about 10:08 PM Sunday, March 24th, Davenport Police, Fire, and Medic EMS responded to the intersection of Locust and Warren Streets in reference to a crash involving a pedestrian.
The initial investigation indicated that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Locust Street when it struck a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian, a 10-year-old child, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
