Keokuk man pleads guilty to sharing obscene materials with a minor and enticing a minor

Keokuk, IA-  A Keokuk man has pleaded guilty to enticing a minor and dissemination of obscene material to a minor.

TV Station WGEM reports that 30-year-old Matthew Wayne Sly of Keokuk pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of enticing a minor under 16 for sexual purposes and five counts of dissemination of obscene materials to a minor.

Lee County Attorney Ross Braden says that Sly arranged to meet a person he believed to be 14 years old for sex, and also sent obscene materials to the person.

Sly pleaded guilty on Wednesday to all six counts.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 20th and faces up to 15 years in prison.
