Fort Madison, IA- Authorities say one person was injured and airlifted to Iowa City following a boating accident in Fort Madison.
TV Station WGEM reports that the Fort Madison Fire Department was called to the Fort Madison Marina at about 6:50 PM Wednesday, where it was reported that one person was struck and injured by a boat propeller.
First responders arrived and stabilized the person until the Air Evac helicopter arrived. The person was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
