
Burlington, IA- The Burlington Police Department says that one person was injured in a shooting incident on Sunday.
According to a news release, at about 11:09 PM Sunday, June 30th, Burlington Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of the 1000 block of North 10th Street.
Upon arrival, officers located multiple shell casings in the middle of the street, as well as damage to two residences and a vehicle.
One person was taken to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The incident remains under investigation.
