Muscatine City Administrator resigns

Muscatine, IA-  The Muscatine City Administrator has announced her resignation.

According to a news release, Muscatine City Administrator Carol Webb resigned from her position Thursday, July 11th, after accepting a similar position in Marshalltown.

“I have sincerely enjoyed my time in Muscatine,” Webb said. “We have accomplished many things that have moved Muscatine forward.”

The Muscatine City Council will host a special meeting at 5 PM Monday to discuss the strategy for hiring a new City Administrator.

Webb, who grew up in southeast Iowa has served as the Muscatine City Administrator since 2020.
