Davenport Man sentenced to Federal Prison for Fentanyl Distribution

Davenport, IA-  A Davenport man was sentenced Wednesday, October 23rd, to 150 months in federal prison for distributing fentanyl.

According to the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa, 25-year-old Nathan Neil Tyson distributed fentanyl to another person.

That person died after ingesting the fentanyl that Tyson gave them.

Officers located marijuana, cash, and an extended firearm magazine at Tyson’s residence.  Also, when he was arrested, Tyson had a loaded firearm near him.

Following his prison term, Tyson will be required to serve five years of supervised release.
