House Speaker Pat Grassley has announced committee assignments for the 91st General Assembly, highlighting roles for several local lawmakers.
Representative Taylor Collins of Mediapolis will serve on the House Appropriations, Government Oversight, and Natural Resources Committees.
Fort Madison Representative Martin Graber joins the Appropriations, Economic Growth and Technology, and Local Government Committees, and will chair the Federal and Other Funds Committee.
Burlington Representative Matthew Rinker was appointed to the Labor and Workforce, Public Safety and Veteran Affairs, and Health and Human Services Appropriations Committees.
These assignments position area lawmakers to address key state issues as the legislature reconvenes in January.
