A planned children’s museum focused on science, technology, engineering, and math is gaining momentum in downtown Burlington. The Burlington STEM Foundation is aiming to raise $5 million by fall 2025 to transform the former Craftsman Press building into the “STEM Inspiration Lab,” featuring exhibits on space, water, and health.
The museum will include an interactive “Science on a Sphere” display and hands-on learning areas for local children and families. Organizers hope to apply for a state CAT grant later this year and have the project completed within 12 months of funding approval.
