Two Fort Madison Community School District administrators have been placed on administrative leave following their resignations, according to Board President Josh Wykert.
Wykert said the decision is part of a leadership transition and was not disciplinary in nature. He did not confirm the individuals by name, but recent board actions show resignations were accepted for Principal Dirk Troutman in March and Assistant Principal Logan Doty in April.
High School Co-Principal Adrian McKay will serve as acting principal for grades 3–6, while Kelsey Steffener will oversee PreK–2 for the remainder of the school year.
