The West Burlington Public Pool will officially reopen this Friday, June 27, after months of major repairs. City officials say crews have spent weeks excavating and patching cracks, repairing a broken skimmer, and updating equipment to ensure the pool is safe and operational for the summer season.
The pool, located at 602 W Burlington Ave., will open to the public at noon Friday with a $5 admission. Adult lap swim will run from 11:30 to noon on weekdays, and night swim will be offered on Wednesdays until 8:30 p.m.
City staff say they’re excited to welcome residents back just in time for the summer heat.
