Fort Madison business owners Clark and Nannette Griffin were among those injured in a Saturday evening crash at Highway 16 and 240th Avenue north of West Point.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, a Mitsubishi Outlander with five occupants (ages 8, 9, 31, 37, and 51) failed to stop at the intersection and was struck by the Griffins’ vehicle. The 37-year-old Mitsubishi passenger was also airlifted, while the others were transported by ambulance to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.
