Great River Health is launching a nine-week support program for cancer survivors at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center’s West Burlington campus. The program, called A Time to Heal: Survivorship 101, begins September 17 and will run weekly through November 12. Led by specially trained facilitators, it offers a welcoming and supportive space where survivors and their caregivers can share their experiences and learn practical strategies for life after treatment.
Each session will focus on topics like nutrition, exercise, stress management, and building confidence, while also fostering a sense of community and encouragement. Registration is free, but spots must be reserved by September 10 by calling 319-768-4248.
