Burlington Police Continuing to Investigate Shots Fired on 12th and Locust

The Burlington Police Department is continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred just after midnight on August 28th near 12th and Locust Street. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and located multiple shell casings at the scene. While no injuries were reported, a nearby building was damaged by the gunfire.

According to police, officers have already responded to 14 shooting-related incidents so far this year and have recovered 44 firearms, many through tips, traffic stops, and search warrants.
