Wapello, IA- The Iowa State Patrol says that a four-year-old child was airlifted from the scene of an accident in Louisa County on Sunday, November 16th.
At about 6:25 PM Sunday, a vehicle turned into an alleyway west of 408 Jefferson Street in Wapello and struck a four-year-old child with the front passenger tire.
The child was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital with serious injuries.
The ISP is investigating the crash.
