Keokuk, IA- Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks has announced that she had secured $825,000 in Community Project Funding for the Keokuk Area hospital.
The funds will support facility improvements that allow the hospital to offer outpatient services and emergency care.
Miller-Meeks’ office said Monday, November 17th, that this investment will help to restore critical health services to the area, which has not had an operational hospital since October 2022.
The project is part of over $5 million is Community Project Funding that Congresswoman Miller-Meeks has secured so far this year for communities in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District.
