Keokuk woman arrested on drug charges

Keokuk, IA-  The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has announced the arrest of a Keokuk woman on felony drug charges.

58-year-old Darlene Gooley of Keokuk was arrested on Wednesday, November 19th, at her residence and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver more than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, and Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp.

Gooley was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office on her outstanding warrants at her residence.

The arrest stems from an investigation by the Task Force into allegations that Gooley was involved in the illegal distribution of narcotics in the Lee County Area.
