Dispatchers received the call around 10:30 p.m., prompting a multi‑agency search involving Oquawka Fire, Oquawka Ambulance, and sheriff’s deputies. Crews deployed thermal‑imaging drones and spotlights to locate the kayakers in a wooded area. All three were safely found and escorted out without injuries.
