In coordination with the Parks Department, Boy Scout Troop 3 can assist you dispose of your Christmas Tree in Burlington/West Burlington for a freewill donation. This is an annual fundraiser for the Scout Troop and the monies raised help them pay for campouts. To schedule a tree pick-up: Send a Facebook message to “Troop 3, Iowa’s Oldest” and include your name, address, and phone number Text (641) 919-6120 and include your name and address, and the scouts will confirm pickup. They request that your tree be free from all decorations and placed on the curb at your house by 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10.
