Burlington City Council member Tim Scott says that the Burlington Bees can afford to pay for improvements and rent at city-owned Community Field. The Burlington Bees are responsible for operating Community Field, and in past years the city contributed $50,000 annually to support stadium improvements and upkeep. The city also covered the facility’s utility costs during that time. Those financial contributions are no longer being provided. Community Field has been listed under the city’s Capital Improvement Program for the 2026-2027 budget.
