
Fire crews worked in subzero temperatures after a fire broke out Friday night at a Burlington residence, destroying a garage and the vehicles inside.
The Burlington Fire Department was called to the scene around 10:17 p.m. after receiving a report of a garage fire in the 2100 block of South 12th Street.
According to a department press release, firefighters arrived to find a detached garage completely consumed by flames.
No one was injured but the garage and the vehicle inside were declared a total loss.
Temperatures at the time of the fire were minus 7 degrees. The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
