One person died following a single-vehicle crash in McDonough County on Tuesday.
Illinois State Police said the crash occurred along U.S. 67, north of Good Hope.
McDonough County Coroner Eric Jameson identified the driver as Max Melvin, 85, of Blandinsville, who was the only occupant of the vehicle.
According to Jameson, Melvin experienced a medical event at the time of the crash.
State police reported that Melvin was pronounced dead at the scene.
