The Burlington Police Department is asking for the public’s help solving a vandalism that occurred recently at a local cemetery.
The right arm of the statue was sheared off by unknown persons sometime before Feb. 13, when it was discovered by cemetery employees.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the statue’s arm, or information on who damaged the statue, is asked contact Burlington Iowa Area Crime Stoppers at or the Burlington Police Department.
