The Henry County Board of Supervisors has approved a special election to fill the vacancy in the County Attorney’s office.
During a meeting held last week at the Henry County Courthouse, supervisors voted 2-to-1 in favor of the measure. Supervisor Steve Detrick cast the lone dissenting vote.
The Henry County Auditor’s Office is expected to publish the official date of the special election today.
