A local family law attorney is running in the Democratic primary for District 99 in the Iowa House of Representatives.
Jennifer Kirkman, made the announcement in a press release Tuesday. She says her campaign will focus on healthcare access, school funding, and the environment.
District 99 includes Des Moines County and part of Lee. Republican Matt Rinker (R-Burlington) currently occupies that seat in the Iowa House.
The Democratic Primary Election is June 2, 2026. The General Election is Nov. 3, 2026.
