BEIJING (AP) _ At least 119 people are now confirmed dead in a massive fire
that broke out at a poultry plant in northeastern China today.
Reports and officials say workers were trapped inside a cluttered
slaughterhouse.
The official Xinhua News Agency says several dozen people also were
hurt in the blaze, which appeared to have been sparked by three early-morning
explosions.
