After 36 hours of searching, the man who’s truck was found in a ditch along County Road X43 in Letts, Iowa, has been found.
Kevin Bunch was located this morning near the railroad tracks, southwest of Letts on 180th street. He was alive and conscious but had to be air lifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The incident occurred Sunday evening when authorities received the call of a damaged truck in the ditch. When they arrived at the scene, deputies were unable to locate the driver of the vehicle but suspected it was Kevin Bunch. Law enforcement then contacted family and friends and additional searches were conducted. The incident is still under investigation.
