They’re trying to generate more business, of course…but the members of the Tri-County Affordable Care Act Task Force are also answering some basic questions asked by those who now have health insurance.
Melinda Whiteman, the Executive Director of Eagle View Community Health System, which operates clinics in Stronghurst and Oquawka, says many of the services now provided under “Obamacare,” are preventative.
Eagle View has been conducting free workshops this week…the last one is tonight(Thur) in Oquawka…and Whiteman says many people who’ve never had medical insurance can’t believe what it now covers.
For the record, Eagle View also offers dental care and their services…medical and dental…are also available to Iowans.
