The Burlington Bees edged the Great Lakes Loons 3-2 last night, to break the Loons’ 5-game winning streak.
The Bees are now 55-46 on the year and 17-15 in the second half. The two teams will play again tonight at Community Field and you can hear the game on KBUR, beginning at 6:10.

Burlington’s 9-10 Little League All-Star team won the state championship last night, with a 9-2 victory over Central Iowa in Des Moines. The Burlington squad finished 8-0 in postseason play, outscoring its opponents 86 to 4 in the process.
