HenryCo Pair Busted for Drugs, Weapons and Burglaries

Two Mt. Pleasant-area residents will face weapons and drug charges, after Henry County deputies executed search warrants…after disarming one of the suspects…and found numerous stolen items…including guns…a marijuana-growing operation…pounds of marijuana…and various forms of meth and drug parphernalia.

39-year old Barry Wilson of 24-35 Sugar Shack Lane will face a laundry-list of felonies, including Going Armed with Intent…Trafficking Stolen Weapons…Burglary, while Armed with a Dangerous Weapon…Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver…a Drug Tax Stamp violation…and parole violations, from a previous meth-making conviction. He was taken to the Henry County jail on a $50,000 bond.

34-year old Jackie Wilson was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon…Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver…and a Drug Tax Stamp violation. Her bond was set at $15,000. Authorities say they expect to make more arrests and file more charges, many in connection with all the stolen property they found in the home.

Henry County deputies were assisted in their investigation by the Mt. Pleasant police…the Jefferson County & Fairfield Police Tactical Team…the Iowa Dept. of Corrections High-Risk Parole Officer…and the Iowa DNR.
